I found a love for metalsmithing when I accidentally enrolled in a metalsmithing program at the Memphis College of Art in 1993.  Since then, I have stretched to a number of different pursuits including: repairing bassoons, manufacturing scientific equipment, production machinery building, 3D modeling and printing, and sand casting. I want to make the world a more enjoyable place by surrounding my friends with decorative works that  evoke the sorts of richly ornamented everyday objects that were typical for those of means before the industrial revolution made handcrafting a cottage industry, rather than a steady profession.
